The ODC
is established, staffed and functioned by Global
Tech to serve as a seamless extension of client's
IT/development staffs.
Onsite/Offshore
models
Under this
model, Global Tech will put in place a combination
of onsite and offshore technical resources based
upon the specific set of services involved and
level of the project, that will become a virtual
extension of the customer's team. On an average,
70% of the total effort is done offshore and 30%
at the customer's location. Usually, an onsite
coordinator or a small team from the Technopus
will be positioned at the customer's place to
coordinate between the offshore team and the customer.
Dedicated
ODC (Administered by customer)
Under this
model, Global Tech offers the resources and infrastructure
for the customer to run the Offshore Development
Center by their management at senior level responsible
for project management and deliverables. These
Offshore Development Center take on the customer
specific business processes, methodologies, quality
management, and acquisition of technology know-how
as per the need of the customer's projects.
BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer)
This model
helps the customers to swiftly start offshore
operations and later transfer the offshore development
center as their own subsidiary. With pre-defined
schedules, Global Tech
shifts all the ODC resources, infrastructure,
operational knowledge, etc to the customer to
operate as an autonomous body.
Offshore
Dev. Cen. (administered by Global Tech)
Under this
model, from the ODC Global Tech manages the resources,
infrastructure, projects and deliverables to the
customer. The Customer assigns tasks and manages
appraisals. All processes including the development
processes and quality management systems and standards
are organized as per Global Tech's best practices.
However, at every stage Global Tech takes the
customer's key input before execution.
