A Project Manager from Global Tech and a Project Coordinator from the customer's end are designated to oversee the entire project.

To start with, a team of engineers led by the project manager from the development side gets in touch with the customer's office to establish relationship with the Project Coordinator, discuss, understand and document requirements, establish communication protocol and finalize reporting format and frequency. It is extremely necessary that the Project Manager and his team gain a thorough understanding of the requirements and communicate the customer's vision of the application back to the offshore center.

Once the primary requirements have been understood, the customer's design approach, development and testing standards and norms for acceptance, if any, are studied. A detailed project plan that involves the resources for the project, time period of the project, milestones and deliverables to be achieved is prepared. With this the development team returns to home.

At home, with the above information a project prototype or replica, architecture and detailed design is prepared and put forth to the customer's for their approval.

The development work starts once the customer have approved and signed off on the requirements and prototype. Constant communications between the project manager and the onsite coordinator enable quick clarification of any doubts.

After completing the project, Global Tech team will carry out the execution and installation of the project at the customer's site.

In some cases, some amount of preliminary design is done onsite during the Project Manager's visit. Afterwards, the development and testing take place.

In many cases, the various steps mentioned above overlap, compressing the total time.
